Michael is now channeling his God-given talent for writing into his ministry work, actively contributing to “The Pen is Mightier than the Sword Ministries.” His goal is to utilize his writing as a means of sowing into the Kingdom and supporting those in need.
Education and Career
Following high school, Michael pursued studies in law at Suffolk Community College. His commitment to service led him to join the New York City Police Department, where he was sworn in as an officer in 2007.
Passion for Writing
Michael’s journey as a writer began at the young age of 7. By 13, he won his first poetry contest, igniting a lifelong passion for the craft. Over the years, he has showcased his work at esteemed venues, including: • The University of Illinois • Dowling College • Nassau Community College • Suffolk Community College His participation in numerous poetry slams has further honed his skills and expanded his audience.
